Our Recruitment Process

Thank you for your interest in working at Monkeystack.

Monkeystack is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. We work with people who only work in an environment that is free of discrimination and harassment and where people are respected and employed based on their skills and what we need to produce our work.

All positions that we have available at Monkeystack are advertised on this website and may be advertised through social media channels, via Seek or in industry publications.

Only applications lodged electronically by the due date through the 'Apply' button on the online job ad will be considered. You must submit your application ensuring that it meets all of the specified criteria. We do not accept applications in person or via any other means.

You may also lodge your interest in working at Monkeystack when there are no available positions by creating a Candidate Profile. While we will have your details on file and may contact you, we do not guarantee that you will be considered for an advertised position unless you specifically apply for it.

Anything that you submit will be used for the purpose of recruitment only and your application and the details contained within it will only be available to senior management at Monkeystack. We will not contact any of your referees unless you are shortlisted for a particular position or we have contacted you and gained your permission.

Once you have submitted your application or created a Candidate Profile online, you will receive an email to acknowledge that we have received your application or that your Candidate Profile has been created.

The length of time of the recruitment process will vary depending on the position you have applied for.  We recognise that the time you have invested in applying for a position, and we will endeavour to keep you informed of the progress of your application as efficiently and effectively as possible.

In most instances, we will review your application against the selection criteria to determine if your skills, abilities and experience match our criteria.  We endeavour to shortlist for interviews within two weeks of the closing date. If we decide not to progress with your application you will be notified by email.

If you are shortlisted, we will generally organise an interview to meet you and talk further about the position and your suitability for it against the selection criteria. We prefer for this interview to take place at our studios in Glenside, South Australia, however, for interstate or overseas applicants, we can organise a suitable video or audio conferncing solution. It is our preference to hold interviews within the hours of 8am and 6pm ACST Monday to Friday.

We require that at least 2 referees are provided.  If you are shortlisted your referees will be contacted and asked to comment on your skills and experience in relation to the role you are applying for. This may happen prior or post your interview. We would ask that you notify your references that we may be contacting them over this period and to provide a phone number that they will answer during business hours.

Once a selection has been made all applicants interviewed will be contacted by phone to advise of the outcome of their application.  If you are successful at the final stage of the process we will make a verbal offer of employment followed by a formal contract and information pack.

We look forward to your application.
